I have five new poems up at Used Furniture Review:
Evelyn
Visiting my grandmother, my mom’s mother, at times was a hesitant foreign thing.
Washington Heights
I loved New York and I loved a girl there who loved me back. What a warm place we lived inside of, even that brief winter.
Drayton Street
A sliver of a memory from Savannah Georgia. There were white Christmas lights on in her room. She is lovely.
The astronomy of this thing
Every day I miss him.
Almond milk & Tilapia
Written this past spring after moving to Austin and adapting back to life down south and to living in Texas for the first time, and adapting to my approaching marriage.
